FAQ
This is the 28oz “ready-to-use” All-Purpose Cleaner spray. The 1 gallon can be used to refill this bottle.
The simple answer is our cleaning products cannot be used as insecticides. There are Do-It-Yourself recommendations for making homemade insecticide from soaps, but that is not quite the same as using a cleaning product (ie. All-Purpose Cleaner). Since we have never tested our products as insecticides, we cannot recommend their use for this particular purpose.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We have a handful of different cleaners that along with our All-Purpose Cleaner can be used to clean and/or sanitize treated or finished wood surfaces. Paint will protect the wood, but it’s important to recognize there are different types of paints and some will be more susceptible to cleaning products.
We recommend you start by applying the cleaning solution to an inconspicuous area of the appliance. The cleaning solution should not mar the finish of the wood, but it’s always safest to test a small section first. Use a soft fibered cloth (microfiber works best) to wipe the surface as to prevent any scratches.

We want you to know what’s inside our cleaning products and why—which is why we voluntarily list that information on each and every product label, and on our website.
The All Purpose Cleaner is safe to use around pets and can be used to clean a pets cage. We recommend soaking your Pet toys in soapy water and rinsing thoroughly, instead of directly using the All Purpose Cleaner on pet toys.
While the All Purpose Cleaner can be used in the bathroom, it does have a high pH and is good on greasy stains. We have a Foaming Bathroom Cleaner, specifically designed for cleaning bathroom surfaces, which will remove soap scum. We also have a Toilet Bowl Cleaner for that specific surface. Neither the of the Bathroom Cleaners nor the All Purpose Cleaner sanitize. We have a Disinfectant Cleaner specifically designed to sanitize and kill common viruses and bacteria.
All Purpose Cleaner can be used on sealed, non-porous surfaces. Marble, granite and tile which are sealed are safe to use the All Purpose Cleaner.
We do not recommend using the All-Purpose Cleaner on wood floors as this cleaner has a higher pH which is used for degreasing that could dry out the wood. We have a wood floor cleaner specifically formulated for this task.
